2007 Highlights

Produced by L/P/C, this two-day event was the City of Monterey Park's ninth annual celebration of the Lantern Festival. Approximately 115,000 people attended the 2007 Fair, which featured 150+ vendor booths, carnival rides, an international food court, piggy races, two entertainment stages, a talent competition for local youths, a KidZone, traditional Chinese opera and lion dancers, and much more. The event attracted widespread coverage in the English and Asian language media, and was very well received by the community. Sponsors of the 2007 Floral Street Fair included American Airlines, Singha Beer, Cathay Bank, Bank of America, Western Union and Mitsubishi Motors. L/P/C is currently working with the City of Monterey Park to organize the 2008 edition of this unique cultural event.
