The 2007 Floral Street Fair is the City of Monterey Park’s 9th annual celebration of the Lantern Festival. And flowers, of course, are the main theme of this much-anticipated celebration. The City chose a floral theme for this year’s Lantern Festival because flowers symbolize life, happiness and prosperity and are an integral part of any Lunar New Year celebration.
Cathay Bank will sponsor a floral float near the entrance to this year’s Fair, as well as an elaborate floral display near the Fair’s secondary entrance. Be sure to stop by and admire these beautiful decorations while on your way into and out of the Fair.
