The BIDAC plans and hosts each year's Lantern Festival.

The Business Improvement District (BID) encompasses the central Downtown area extending from Garvey Avenue from Ramona Avenue to Nicholson Avenue, and on Garfield Avenue from south of Newmark Avenue to Emerson Avenue
