The San Gabriel Valley Idol Contest will be a major highlight of the Floral Street Fair. Based on the popular television program “American Idol,” this singing and dancing competition will showcase the talents of young people from schools throughout the San Gabriel Valley. Bands, choral groups, dance teams and individual performers from grades three through twelve will compete on the Main Stage for valuable prizes, including cash grants to the winning performers’ school music and art programs. These performances will be energetic, impressive and widely appreciated by the audience, so come out and cheer on the performers! The competition is open to performers from 3rd through 12th grade.
